The Cellular Valve - Testament to Intelligent Design
May 17, 2018
The article linked to the picture below describes a cellular valve that was only discovered in the recent past. The article states, "Human cells are enclosed by membranes and are in osmotic equilibrium with their environment. If the concentration of solute molecules in the fluid surrounding the cells decreases, cells start to swell; in extreme cases, this can result in the cells bursting. To avoid this, cells activate volume-regulated chloride channels (VRACs) of the LRRC8 protein family. If the cell volume increases as a result of inflowing water, these cellular valves open to allow the negatively charged chloride ions and uncharged osmolytes to flow out, returning the cell to its original state".
How was the value created?
This is complex functionality of the cell membrane so the question is how was it created? Those that believe in the religion of microbes to man evolution would say that a very simple cell membrane formed from a pond of liquid and then somehow genetic programming formed within the membrane and was able to replicate. The insanity of this proposal is extreme. It is truly a blind, irrational and insane faith because it goes against observable science. And then the cell membrane would have to randomly create this valve to deal with the pressure problem it was experiencing. It would have to create this valve over many, many, many generations by way of random mutations that build the genetic programming to create the valve and integrate it into the overall function of the cell. Again, if you believe this, you hold a blind and irrational faith, because mutations are observed to destroy genetic programming, not create it. In fact, mutations have never been observed to create any new genetic programming. The evidence SCREAMS intelligent design! To put a valve in to address a problem requires intelligent programming and forethought. As we learn more about life and genetics, we continue to see observable science that shows The Creator God is amazing and VERY intelligent!
