The article linked to the picture below discusses research on how memories are stored in the brain. The article states, "our brain stores a short-term memory of the experience in a part of the brain called the hippocampus. Those memories are later "consolidated" -- that is, transferred to another part of the brain for longer-term storage".
If you read through this article you come to appreciate the complex co-ordination between various components of the brain. And how is all of this created? By very advanced genetic programming in our DNA. What makes more sense - that this was designed or that is came about through random chance? The answer of course is obvious - this is a designed system! Much like computer hardware and software humans have developed to store information in RAM, ROM and harddrives and to write and maintain that information.
