The article linked to the picture below delves into the science behind baldness. It states, "A genomic study of baldness identified more than 200 genetic regions involved in this common but potentially embarrassing condition. These genetic variants could be used to predict a man's chance of severe hair loss".
Genetic variants are mutations. When mutations have an effect on how our genetic programming runs, the effect is overwhelmingly bad. While baldness is minor in the overall scheme of things, it isn't typically something we want to have happen to us. If you keep up with my blog posts, you know that each generation starts with more genetic mutations than their parents had and our genetic programming is essentially being degraded over time. Logic would then tell us the human genome would have less mutations in the past and thus humans would not have many of the issues we have today, particularly ancient people.
So two bits of Good News! First, the Bible tells us that we can once again be in the presence of God if we accept that Christ took the punishment for everything we do against God. Second, when we are in the presence of God, like Adam and Eve were, a degrading genome will no longer be an issue. All those mutations that degrade us will be fixed. In other words, NO BALDNESS IN HEAVEN!
