We Simply Cannot Comprehend the Complexity of Life
July 28, 2016
The below article focuses on one very small component that works in concert with thousands of other components to make life a reality. As I read more and more of these articles, the idea that all life is complex just doesn't capture how amazing life is. Life is truly only possible because of a God whose intelligence, engineering, and creativity is beyond what we can understand.
In this article, the researchers examine just one small corner of the miracle of life - an enzyme that modifies a protein involved in turning genes on and off inside the cell. The enzyme is called "Rumi" and the protein is called "Notch". The Notch is described as, "far more complicated than a simple on and off switch. It's a protein chain that spans the cell membrane with complicated 3D folding-including 36 repeating "beads on a necklace" folds that can each be modified in different ways to affect the protein's overall function".
And what happens when mutations occur to the Rumi? You guessed it, disease in the form of cancer.
Can any evolutionist provide a proposal about how this one process occurred through random mutation? My bet is no, because it simply isn't possible.
Tour the links in the "More" section of this site to learn more about why evolution is not true and the observable science points towards a perfect original creation by God.
