See the article linked below to read about yet another example of mutations causing problems by destroying good genetic information. The article states, "MeCP2 can regulate the expression of a large number of genes by binding to DNA. Mutations in this DNA-binding protein cause Rett syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder that predominantly affects girls. Rett patients have a number of severe impairments that can hinder a child's ability to speak, walk, eat and breathe."
Evolution teaches that mutations are the driver of the creation of new useful and complex information, but there is no observable evidence of this. All we see is mutations destroying genetic information and causing disease and disorders. Science shows that each generation has more mutations than the previous as a result of germ line mutations. This points to a genome that was better in the past since less mutations had accumulated. From this we can conclude the original genome was perfect as created by God!
