If you watched video of Muhammad Ali in his prime he was seemingly invincible, but we all have mutations in our genetic code, which makes us anything but. Unfortunately for Ali, he likely had a mutation that caused his Parkinson's Disease. While there are a number of mutations that cause the disease, the below linked article focuses on one to the gene called TMEM230.
This further shows that mutations are a destructive force to life and not a force that builds new complex genetic information as evolution would have your believe. There are tens of thousands of examples of how mutations destroy genetic information to cause problems and none of how mutations create new useful genetic information that would be required for a simple cell to become a man.
Why did this happen to such a loved iconic figure? Well, he was in the same boat as all of us. He had a degrading genome as a result of the sin of the first man, Adam. By rejecting God, we rejected his perfect creation and his sustaining power. We received what we deserve, a universe and genome that is degrading over time.
But the good news is the Bible promises a restoration of His original design for those who accept the gift that He gave us through Christ. And because the Bible is continually being proven correct in science and history, we can have a sure faith that this restoration will happen.
