The ability for cells to divide is critical for life and good health. The article linked to the picture below states, "To avoid dire consequences, namely disease and unwanted cell death, cells employ a suite of fail safes to ensure they split evenly, every time." One part of the process of cell division is the cell forming into a perfect sphere. It states, "During cell division, <DNA> strands coil themselves into tightly bound chromosomes and align at the cell's equator. To make room for this chorus line formation, the squishy cell rounds up into a perfect sphere. Scientists have long known that if a cell cannot round at this stage, it cannot divide. The new research, published February 28, 2019 in Nature Communications, presents a novel idea: if a cell rounds with too much force, division becomes equally impossible." In other words, for cell division to occur, the cell membrane cannot be too loose, it cannot be too tight, it must be just right. And what is driving the ability for a cell to divide? Loads and loads of genetic programming! Everything that occurs in the cell is based on genetic programming.
What does this mean?
Just more observable evidence that life is fine tuned and designed. Evolution would say that life created itself through random chemical interactions, but experiments and mathematics shows even the simplest form of life cannot be created through natural processes. Much less life being created that has the fine tuning needed for cell division! Just think, evolution would say all the complex genetic programming to create these fail safes and mechanisms to enable cell division arose at the very beginning and by random luck! To believe life arose through chemical evolution goes against all observation and science. It is not just a blind faith, but a faith that goes directly against what we know!
