EXCELLENT Observation - Life Devolves, Not Evolves

What happened to the Galapagos Cormorant?
The image below is a link to a great short video from Science that shows what they would consider the evolved Galapagos Cormorant, but in reality it is showing the devolved and degraded cormorant. The video highlights how the wings and chest of this bird no longer support flight. This resulted because there are no predators of the bird on the island. In this case, predators would be the force of natural selection that would normally destroy birds who were defective and could not fly. Put another way, natural selection removes the birds that have defective genetic programming!
More observable science that refutes evolution and supports the Biblical Account
The video details what happened to this bird at a genetic level and documents how a specific gene in the bird has suffered damage in the form of missing DNA. Once again we do not see the creation of any new genetic information, but damage to existing DNA. In other words, mutations have NEVER been observed to create any new genetic programming, but there are thousands and thousands of observations showing how mutations destroy genetic information. The Galapagos Cormorant is just one of those examples.
The Bible tells us that life was created perfect in the beginning and began to deteriorate once we rejected God. Observation shows us that is exactly what is happening in our world today. Natural Selection is not a force of creation or building, but instead a force that can only slow the deterioration. Just as is observed with these birds. Just look how all of these birds have lost flight, it shows how quickly mutations can destroy a lineage if mutations are not kept under control. But even if kept under control, it is only a matter of time before mutations will take their toll since each generation starts with more mutations than the previous due to reproduction copying errors in the DNA.
Is there any hope?
YES! While life in this world is destined to decay and die, God has told us that if we accept the gift Christ has given us that we will be fully restored to his original design - genetically perfect and free from death, disease, and disorders. So what is the gift Christ has given? He took the punishment we deserve for all the actions we have done against God. If we accept Christ and let him take our punishment, then we can be reconciled to God. Otherwise, God, being just, will give us the punishment we all deserve. And Christ is the only one and the only way to receive this gift as He is the only one who lived a perfect life and because of this His death is sufficient to cover all the evil we have done.
