I came across the short video linked to the image below and wanted to share it. First, I'm not sure how anyone could watch this video and think that the complexity of the cell came about through random mutations. It is very obvious that the cell is a sophisticated system that was designed by a very intelligent engineer.
Second I wanted to focus on the "key" mentioned in the video, which is otherwise known as the cell receptor. Using the term "key" is a much better term to understand what is happening. When we use a key, we know that the grooves on the key must match up to those in the key hole and this is essentially what is happening when a virus tries to enter a cell. Many times when we are told that a "new" virus has evolved, it is nothing more than the grooves on either the key or key hole changed so that the virus can gain access. There was no new genetic information created, existing genetic information was only changed.
Evolutionists continue to grasp for ideas about how life started. One theory being explored is that viruses are what created all life. This of course has many insurmountable problems. One is that viruses require a more complex life form to survive. They can't survive on their own. Two, and most important, viruses are still complex genetic programs. Where did all the genetic information come from? Observable science shows that mutations do not create genetic information.
Once again we see that a super intelligent creator is required in the beginning to create the genetic programming we see today.
