There is a lot of talk these days about gender. If you look into the science, the determination of sex is based on your genetic programming and how it is executed. In the article below, it discusses how a female developed despite having male genetics.
How did this happen? The article states, "The toddler in the study had a mutation in the gene encoding SRY, or sex-determining region of the Y chromosome, a protein that initiates testes development in embryos. Mutations in SRY have previously been found that impair the protein's ability to attach to DNA and activate specific genes involved in sex determination."
In other words, mutations can disrupt the execution of our genetics during formation. There are folks in this world that have to suffer from these types of mutations. What is important to understand is that this type of thing wasn't in God's original design. Observable science shows that in the past genetics had fewer mutations/errors and that in the beginning our genetics were perfect. This means no disease or disorders. So why did mutations begin to occur? Because we (Adam/Eve) rejected God's instructions. As a consequence he stepped back and as a result the creation began to decay. Mutations shows this as well as the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. Now we have to deal with issues such as the one in this article. The good news is that through Christ we can once again be restored to the original design.
