More evidence that mutations destroy genetic information and not create it. Here we see the effects when the p53 gene is mutated. When it is mutated the p53 doesn't perform as designed. This is really bad because the p53 protein, created from the instructions encoded in the gene, has a job to destroy cells whose DNA has become mutated and could become cancerous. In other words, the p53 gene is a sort of quality control for our cells and DNA. Once again this shows that mutations are bad, which is the opposite of what macro-evolution requires - that mutations create new functional genetic information.
In addition, the p53 gene shows the complexity of life and a designed function that required forethought to solve a problem - errors in our genetic programming. This could not have come about through random mutations and luck, but required intelligence and design.
Further proof that life was created by God!
