Believers in God are often criticized for invoking God when they are faced with a problem they do not know the answer to. For example - How exactly was life first created? The answer - God. We are invoking God as the answer because we do not know exactly how it happened, but believe God was the cause. What we do also say is that we have faith this is what happened as it can't be proven. It is our religious view.
However the same can be said for nonbelievers and the below article is a perfect example. In trying to figure out the mysteries of life and how it came to be, the researcher states, "The big problem in biology is the question of how a protein does what it does. We think the answer rests in protein evolution". Here we see the evolutionist invoking their God of the Gaps - Macro evolution. When they don't know the answer, just have faith in evolution. As you read the article there is very little observable scientific evidence that protein structure and function came together randomly over time, instead you actually see the complex protein structures have been in life from the very beginning. The structure of these proteins, such as their intricate loops, just adds another layer of complexity onto the miracle of life. And how are these proteins created? They are built from the information in your DNA through a complex processes in your cells.
The article goes on to give an interesting analogy comparing the building blocks of life to an information network. It equates the biological network to nodes of the internet built by routers and computers. The internet is made up of complex machines, programming, protocols and information, just the same as biological life. The internet needed an intelligent source to create it as it didn't just evolve randomly over time. The idea of marco evolution is just as foolish as thinking the internet came into being randomly without any intelligence needed.
